Have you ever wanted to add check boxes in a view displayed on the Web so you
could simulate the check marks on the Notes client. Here how you can achieve
this:
1) create a form with a field called, for example, "selections". This field
should be an editable text field with the multi-values option enabled. Hide the
field from the web browser.
2) Create a view from which your web users will select your documents. This
view will have only one column with the following formula:
"[&LTINPUT TYPE=checkbox NAME=\""+"Selections"+"\"
VALUE=\""+KEY+"\">"+TITLE+"&LTBR>]"
KEY is a formula of field that uniquely identify a document in the database. It
could be the @DocumentID or any other key you created yourself.
TITLE is the document title that will be displayed in the view.
3) Create an embedded view in the form you created in (1). Select the view you
created in 2.
4) on your web site, add an action that will create a document with the form
created in (1).

Now each time a form with the embedded view is submitted, the field
"selections" will contain all document keys that the user selected. It is now
easy to write scipts or agents that will act upon those documents.
